Day School

Day School by Frolic Dog Training

**Day School is best suited for dogs that enjoy socializing with other dogs and do not have aggression issues with other dogs**

Day school is offered as an alternative to traditional dog daycare. This program is tailored to board & train graduates and is a daycare/day training hybrid service. Day school activities will rotate between off-leash hikes, play groups, structured nap time, enrichment toys & games, focused exercise, neighborhood walks, and training sessions to work on manners, basic obedience, handling, minor behavior issues and new skills. Day school is a great option for dogs that need exercise and stimulation during the day, but don’t do well in a traditional unstructured daycare setting, which can be overwhelming and end up encouraging over-arousal and poor play skills. It’s also a great option for continuing your dog's training and socialization. Our goal at Day School is not only to tire dogs out physically, but also to meet their needs mentally & emotionally, so that they come home truly satisfied and as a result are happier and more harmonious to live with.

Day School is available 3 days per week, Tues-Thurs

The cost is $75 per day if scheduled for the same recurring day(s) every week, or $85 per day if scheduled as a drop-in. Drop-in scheduling will only be available as space permits.

You will Drop-off and pick-up your dog at Lucia’s house near Hosford Middle School in the Richmond/Division neighborhood of SE Portland.

Grooming services except for full-body haircuts are available as add-ons in the Day School program!
